| Official date for Six Flags has been changed from August 8 to August 15 (in less than two weeks!!!) If you're going, make sure to let any of the officers know A.S.A.P. We will be leaving from Jang Tuh @ 5:45 AM. You need $20 for the ticket and additional money for food, drinks, etc. Remember to dress appropriately for the weather and bring a bathing suit if you plan on going to the water park.
The new youth group "board" will be taking over on August 16. There will no longer actually be officers but a group of individuals who will divide all of the different tasks. An announcement of who these individuals are will either be announced next week or the week after that.
Lastly, the farewell party for departing seniors will be on August 23 after a full worship service on that Sunday! Make sure to be there to say goodbye :(.
That's it. I hope everyone has a blessing week! :)

| ***Important news for this week* ** We will be having a farewell party (possibly a barbecue?!) for all the leaving youth group members and teachers this coming Sunday. The party will be held after service so it'd be really great if everyone could attend. This could be the last time you see some of them!
As summer vacation is fast approaching, one thing we should be mindful of and be praying about are new officers. Remember that only youth group members that have gone through confirmation can run for office...
Another summer update: We have a tentative date for work camp during the summer- July 26. This isn't a definitive date so don't mark anything down yet, but check your schedules for availability.
That's it. Hope everyone has a fantastic week. God bless.

| CELEBRATION NIGHT ON SATURDAY @ 6:00
It'll be a great night with a lot of fun things happening so you don't want to miss out! Call for rides and such. If you need directions, it is at:
Shalom Korean Church of Albany 32 Lapham Drive, Albany, NY 12205
Be there, be there, be there!
We are also tentatively planning a possible lock-in on Good Friday which is April 10 to fast together so try to clear your schedules for then. This is the weekend before spring break for most schools so I don't think that it should be a problem for most people to attend.
I hope everyone is having a fulfilling week. God bless!

| It's FEBRUARY :).
As previously mentioned, we'll be holding our annual ski trip this month. It will be in two weeks (February 21) and we are still meeting at Jang Tuh @ 8:30. Tickets will cost approximately $20, and you'll need to bring extra money for food, rentals, etc.
Community service is still happening; Miss. Hyun Jin is contacting the food bank to get us dates for that.
In March, we will again be holding confirmation classes. Any language problems can be accommodated because there will be an English and Korean class. If you would like to commit to this, make sure to let one of the teachers know because a list is currently being made.
Lastly, if you haven't heard the big news already, our very own JDSN is now officially a MSN (aka Mok San Neem) !!! Remember to congratulate him when you see him :). | | |
| We have a few things lined up for this month and next month.
First, we'll be taking part in community service either at the Regional Food Bank or Albany City Mission Trip. There is no specific date set, but Miss Hyun Jin will have the details by next week. Try to keep your schedules open?
We are planning to have our annual ski trip on February 21 (Saturday) @ Jiminy Peak. We'll be leaving at 8:30 from Jang Tuh. The details of the trip will be provided after everything is finalized.
Lastly, if anyone is interested in being part of a mission trip to Nicaragua , they should speak to one of the teachers. It's a wonderful experience so I'd encourage anybody who can to take part in it! :)
I hope everyone has a great week! God bless!
